Bio:
Ferne Ruth Jewelry was born from a lifelong love of art and named in honor of my mother, Ferne Ruth, an award-winning watercolor and encaustic painter whose creativity continues to inspire my work. I create handcrafted flame-painted titanium earrings, vibrant alcohol ink jewelry, and gemstone jewelry designed to celebrate color, individuality, and joy.
Working from my Florida studio, I transform raw materials into distinctive pieces that reflect both artistic expression and craftsmanship. After surviving breast cancer, I committed to donating 50% of all proceeds from my pink jewelry collections to breast cancer research.
The greatest reward of this journey has been building lasting relationships with collectors who return year after year at art festivals across the country. My hope is that every piece of Ferne Ruth Jewelry is worn with confidence, cherished for years, and brings joy every time it’s put on.
Artist Statement:
I create jewelry from raw titanium using a torch to bring out color; alcohol ink, creating original paintings first, then jewelry from that; & natural semi-precious stones, hand designing each piece.
