Marilyn Kinsella aka Taleypo the Storyteller will be celebrating her 40th year of telling tales at “The Midwest Salute to the Arts!” As an artist she paints her stories using colorful words highlighted with shades of light and dark. She tells stories from many cultures, but still finds her heart/art in the stories she tells about growing up in Old Fairview and now Fairview Heights. She’s travelled t many states as a featured teller at schools, museums churches, festivals, and women’s clubs. She, and her stone-tool-maker husband Larry, perform together in several versions of… “Stories ‘n Stones.” For more info: www.marilynkinsella.org
