Bio:
I love nature and especially when I cannot be outside, I enjoy seeing it all around me in my home. Using several pictures, I combine them into one painting: first a brief pencil sketch, a layer of watercolor pencils, then various glazes. I taught Anatomy and Physiology which helps me identify the details of each animal as they move and turn.
I have been painting full time for about 3-4 years after retiring from teaching. I also teach monthly watercolor classes at our local Makerspace.
