Bio:
My photography derives from my Grandfather, a photographer in WWI and camera operator at 20th Century Fox. His fascination with the subtleties of light, shadow and the contrast between the two were something I picked up on at an early age. I continue today with the same fascination along with producing artwork with strong rich and bold color with stunning clarity. My artistic style is unique and unmistakable. I have the gift to see beauty in many ways and my wide subject matter reflects that. My passion does not stop there however. I very much enjoy producing all aspects of the finished art including my own printing process and the custom framing of each piece. I am proud of the fact I can produce my artwork from start to finish with no outsourcing. As a 3rd generation Photographer I at an early age developed a passion for Nature, landscape and rural scenery all while under the wing of my grandfather who was a Photographer in WWI and then throughout his working life. While I have a deep respect for the old masters and old dark room procedures having spent many hours there with Granddad, I now spend many hours in the digital dark room with my images I’ve toured the country to capture. I hope to have captured that special moment in a way that so few have the gift to see. When completely produced I then spend many hours perfecting them for print bringing my images to life in a way that I hope speaks to others. I pay close attention to the smallest of details. I spend time picking out just the right archival papers and canvas goods to bring out the last little bit of color, detail and quality to be viewed in the final product. I am very proud of the fact I complete every aspect of this process myself, nothing is outsourced. For me photography is a journey with no conceivable end.
