Artist Statement:

Works are a melding of wood and steel. Bases are welded from the discarded pieces of industrial fabrication destined for the scrapyard. Each possesses unique shapes and textures. Wood is from urban logging operations. My goal is to create a beautiful functional piece of art from ordinary materials.
