BIO:
A lifelong resident of central Illinois, Gregory’s passion for photography encompasses portraiture, conceptual work, and abstract explorations. Through techniques like intentional camera movements and multiple exposures, Gregory delves into the artistic possibilities of his medium, capturing images that inspire and evoke deep emotion.
Gregory’s journey into photography began with a love for capturing moments that speak to him artistically. While much of his portfolio focuses on portraiture and his ongoing “Americana” series, his recent exploration of abstract techniques reflects a dynamic and evolving artistic vision. A member of multiple local galleries and artist co-ops, Gregory’s work has been recognized with numerous awards, including Secord Place in the People category at the Illinois State Fair in 2023 and most recently Best of Show at the Effingham Artisan Fair in 2025. He actively participates in juried art fairs across Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana, showcasing his talent to diverse audiences.
