Bio:

I craft jewelry that encourages people to slow down and notice the details found in the natural world. Each piece starts with a natural specimen that first caught my eye and sparked curiosity.

I use copper electroforming to preserve crystals, botanical elements, and other natural objects while keeping their natural textures and variations. This process combines chemistry, patience, and craftsmanship as copper slowly grows layer by layer around the piece until something delicate becomes something lasting.

I’m inspired by natural history, slowing down, looking closely, and finding the remarkable in things that may be missed. That curiosity shapes my work and the way I hope others experience it. I preserve natural forms because their details are worth noticing.

My current work explores jewelry as objects of natural curiosity. They could fit in a museum collection or be worn every day. Every piece is made to feel like a small discovery, inviting people to share the curiosity and careful observation that inspire my work.

Artist Statement:

Copper electroformed jewelry starts with conductive paint, followed by submerging in an electrolytic bath for depositing copper. After this, jewelry is polished, patinated, and sealed.
