Rola picDrawing inspiration from nature, architecture, machinery, and his own imagination, Andrew Rola fuses traditional surreal paintings with augmented reality technology to bring paintings to life with original animations. From an early age, Andrew Rola has always gravitated towards art, creating, animation, and understanding the way things work. Andrew Rola has dedicated his studies to understanding and developing traditional painting techniques, while also exploring the modern developments of technology based art enhancement. Using his extensive and wide-ranging backgrounds in arts, mathematics, engineering, animation, and 3d design, Rola developed and launched his own Augmented Reality app, which is able to bring his surreal paintings to life and allow audiences to explore his ever-growing world of imagination like never before.
Techniques: traditional acrylic/oil paintings on wood and canvas, combined with original 2d and 3d animations through the use of my self-designed augmented reality app
