Children’s Gallery Offers Kids-Only Shopping! Where can kids buy art without mom or dad nudging them toward something they like? Only at the Midwest Salute to the Arts Children’s Gallery. The Children’s Gallery was designed to foster an interest in art at an early age. Children ages 5-13 enter the gallery and choose a piece of art, free from parental influence. After the child has selected a piece, they are encouraged to visit the artist who created their piece to find out how it was created. The cost to enter the gallery is $10. Plan to stop by the Gallery opening at 10 am on Saturday, August 24th to let your little ones start their own art collection, or, add to it! Gallery will be open until all art has been disbursed.
