After pursuing successful careers in other creative fields, Virgeen Healey and Ray Schott discovered the clay medium and fell in love with its possibilities. While their individual styles differ greatly, both are united by a shared philosophy: finding joy in the everyday miracles of life. Their studio, Cré Maith (meaning “Good Clay” in Gaelic), seeks to capture both the grace and chaos that surrounds us. Whether through nature-inspired pieces or sculptural, textured works, organic elements remain at the heart of their creations. Each piece is hand-built and one-of-a-kind, allowing for boundless creative expression.
